Your main responsibility as an intern in Global Trade, Customs & Compliance will be to support the customs team in ensuring flawless and compliant material inbound and outbound flow for INNIO.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the customs team in ensuring compliant inbound and outbound material flow for INNIO
  • Assist with compliance activities and frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders such as customs authorities, customers, and suppliers
  • Support import and export compliance checks, as well as clarification and resolution of customs holds and issues
  • Support the implementation of AI-based software solutions
  • Assist with research on global trade regulations, preferential procedures, special trade programs, and customs broker audits
  • Carry out data analysis for customs-related topics to support decision-making
  • Ensure clean process management and contribute to the continuous improvement of customs processes

Your Profile:

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Tax, or similar
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Good analytical and strong communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to communicate with people from different countries
  • Interest in working in a technical environment is desirable

The internship is a full-time position for at least 6 months starting in November 2026. The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.698,59 gross per month (x 14).
